A journey through our imagination, in search of the sacred, its appropriation and our connection with nature.

The strong presence of Christianity in the national territory and all over the world meant that there was homogeneity of cults and traditions. The Christian religion was established as the main religion and all previous cults were erased or appropriated. However, it is still visible today in popular religiosity, an old reminiscence, of the cults proclaimed to nature, to its cycles, to its agricultural calendars, and its more communal dimension of sharing. Something that was not forgotten by the ancients and that continues in the imagination of the younger ones, creating a mixture between the Sacred Christian and the Sacred Pagan.

A presença forte do Cristianismo em território nacional e um pouco por todo o Mundo, fez com que uma homogeneidade de cultos e tradições fosse efetuada. A religião cristã foi instituída como religião principal e todos os cultos anteriores, foram apagados ou apropriados. Contudo é ainda hoje visível na religiosidade popular, uma reminiscência antiga, dos cultos proclamados à natureza, aos seus ciclos, aos seus calendários agrícolas, e à sua dimensão mais comunitária de partilha. Algo que não foi esquecido pelos antigos e que continua no imaginário dos mais novos, criando uma mistura entre o Sagrado Cristão e o Sagrado Pagão.
